  1. My 2.0TDI also does this from time to time. I personally don't think it is anything to worry about, as above, I believe the car may be in the middle of a DPF regen when you turn it off, or the car's ECU wants to cool down the coolant/engine. "Just been out an started the car with a cold engine and the fan on the passenger side of the radiator starts straight away. Is that normal?" If your aircon it switched on, yes.
  2. Have you switched on travel assist? When I picked up my car the adaptive lane assist wasn't on, if you press the assist menu button on the steering wheel and you'll see 'Travel Assist' in the menu. It could be off. That's where I also find the speed assist setting, which defaults to on each time.
  3. Mine has one or two rattles from the door card area, and also one in the centre console. With it having acoustic glass in the front on mine, it is even more noticeable. One annoying squeak from the drivers door was driving me insane, I took the umbrella out of the door card and it stopped. I'd try a few things, open the door and see if you can make the noise. Put pressure in certain areas with one hand and try again. It could be used in an attempt to build a case that the door card is incorrectly fitted?
  4. I'd be interested in this also, I had the wheels off to give the calipers, wheels and suspension a good clean; I was going to put an axle stand underneath but noticed there wasn't an obvious or proper place to put the stand. On a side not, those stupid aero wheel covers on the Sportline made a mess of what was a 7 month old car, the prev owner obv didn't take them off and the embedded brake dust has tarnished the silver zinc coating!
  5. My wife loves it, she sits there with it on level 3 for what seems like hours. That area of my body would be like pulled pork if I tried it.
  6. Agreed, it can be a thrilling ride haha. If you're behind a car on a straightish road doing sensitive/safe speeds it is handy, but when it gets twisty the car thinks it Max Verstappen. In an Octavia vRS a few years ago I had the adaptive lane assist disengage mid corner on the A449 in Wales, and I had to sharply take over, which took away my confidence to use it on anything but straight forward roads/motorways. I take the blame though, I was asking a lot of it.
  7. I've gone out and checked. It's in the air conditioning settings. Click the heater button to load up the heating/air con panel, top right click the cog. Under air-conditioning settings there is 'Switch on at start of journey depending on temperature' > Seat heating > Level 2. I didn't check but I guess you can turn it off, or to level 1, 2 or 3.
  8. Not bad! I think I got 54mpg driving up through Wales going steady at national speed limit speeds, which I was very happy with. I think the car does well, especially if it's not regenerating the DPF. I've read you can do better if you don't use adaptive cruise as the car tends to use brakes to manage speed where as a sensible human just lets off and coasts to saves energy!
  9. There is a setting in vehicle settings for putting heated seats automatically if the car senses a low ambient temp, you can turn it off. I can't recall where, but I've seen it, check around in the car settings where you click the vehicle left and right to adjust indoor and outdoor settings, it's likely in the indoor settings. If you struggle I'll go find it.
  10. Hi all, in case it is helpful, this is the recall information. https://car-recalls.eu/skoda-recalls-50000-kodiaqs-over-side-airbag-issues-kba/ I'm booked in next Thursday to get this resolved on my Kodiaq. "Skoda is recalling 49,766 Kodiaq vehicles manufactured between 21 August 2024 and 8 December 2025 to workshops worldwide. The reason for this recall is that an edge on the front seat frame may compromise the integrity of the side airbag when it is deployed. In an authorized workshop, the installation of a non-woven anti-chafing protection will be carried out. The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) is monitoring the recall under reference number “16172R“. The manufacturer’s internal code is “72SG“."
