can anyone recomend a garage in the hinckley, leicester, area to change the dsg gearbox oil

and how mutch,i have been told £200 by one garage.

They are ripping you off.

Even VW's fixed price maintanence scheme recommends the DSG oil and filter change to be no more that £179...

These prices are negotiable too so I'd be looking to pay £150 max.

If you decided to use an independent garage instead it might be even cheaper.

I got a quote for £160 all in the other week when getting some bits.

£160 is about right, it's what I'd charge.

6 litres of oil, pretty sure it's about £12 a litre I think plus a filter and an hours labour.

Had mine done the other week - £166 inc VAT
