Facelift

Featured Replies

So new Mondeo next year. New Mazda 6 out in January. Vauxhall Insignia facelift next spring. Been awhile since those Superb facelift pictures but assume Skoda will respond soon. Question is when? Will take me a year to persuade the Mrs the beloved Mark 1 2.5 has to go so come on Skoda extract digit. Anybody heard anything?

I was speaking to a salesman in my local dealership who assured me nothing new until late 2014 at earliest. Have heard nothing about a facelift.

I was reading all the press news on the Mondeo and Mazda 6. They both look very good indeed and the Mazda is available now. My sense is that Skoda are going to start slipping back in the ratings as other manufacturers up their game.

That said I have my Superb nearly a year now and it just gets better and better.

On the upside in the same conversation the dealer principal was over hearing about what is to come. I believe the new Octavia is stunning.

If the new octavia is anything like those recent new skodas, stunning is not the word I would use..... :giggle: vw-styling is, honestly, quite boring......but the cars are good, though.

There is a facelift coming next year as a stop gap until the new chassis model in 2014.

It was on the planner at the last master tech API meeting.
