HI every one!

Hi having thoughts of upgrading my 1.9 TDI Fabia to a Diesel Octavia and wonder witch model and engine which have the preferred performance.

I currently doing about 53mpg mixed driving what is the average on the octavias?

Any Fault i should look out for specific to them.

If you have one for sale let me know.

Best one to go for is a L&K 130 model, comes with leather, cruise control etc. You'll prob get around the same mpg too!

Don't discount the vRS either. I'm well impressed with the economy v performance. I regularly get 42+ on the motorway and A/B roads between 32 and 37 depending on my mood. You might want more but, depending on your mileage, the extra cost of diesel might not be worth it and the vRS is a hoot to chuck about.
