Rang yesterday for a quote and went through all the information over the phone to get to the end and the system refusing to give a quote. All very well and done, the lady on the phone said she may call me back in a couple of days if the underwriters got back to her only to suggest that they had a skoda specialist holding on the other line. They didn't seem to know what was going on. Then she passed me onto Swinton in Huddersfield who answered the phone and left me stumbling for words because they had no recollection of me being passed through at all all before being nicely cut off and receiving a dead tone.

All in all not a very good use of 25 minutes of my day. Oh well....

I have had a look into the file for you. The clerk you spoke has indeed issued a referal to our Underwriters to see if any quotation can be offered due to your partners driving licence length and will of course get back to you if we are able to help.

With regards to transfering you to Swintons, our clerk would of confirmed that they would put you through to a specialist third party company to see if they could help you. Your call would of been put through to Call Connection. Their role is to pass your call to a suitable company for a quotation if we are unable to quote you. The clerk at Call Connections would of taken some details and passed your call through to Swintons.

I can only apologise on behalf of Call Connections if they did not announce your call to Swintons, I know when we receive calls from them they do confirm Client's details to us, but I am not sure how they work with other companies I'm afraid.

In fairness Dan, I have had the same issue around November last year in relation to this Call Connection rubbish.

I think its half the fact they arent clear at any stage what is going on, a quick "im transfer you to someone" then you end up with them, going over the same stuff, to then happen again..

Not nice.

Aye I did get passed on 3 times after a call back but that's an outside Adrian flux issue. Iv been quoted £1000 by Admiral so will just go with what's cheapest now unless the underwriters can get back to me.
