Sorry. No idea on that one.

Not even sure what it is!

Does it go back to radio if you pull fuse F8?

That's the MFD1 satnav (AKA Blaupunkt DX), 2 generations before the Columbus.

Do you have a phone kit fitted, its possible that the tele-mute on the kit has failed.

I seem to remember that the mute is done by the car kit grounding a wire, so could be a short also (if the insulation has chaffed off somewhere).

The none satnav symphonies allowed you to turn the muting off i think, so if you can get in to the menus.....

It must be behind the unit.. as we have never connected a phone ever

So it must have an external Bluetooth unit

Cant get into the bluetooth menu... only 1 and thats just a volume control

Iv not had one fitted myself.. it might be factory fitted.. id have to take the radio out to see for a kit du think ?

Just Disconnect battery, problem solved.

- there's no bluetooth menu on these units

- as your car's an Octavia I, then it would seem someone has retrofit this (pretty sure wasn't available as factory option  ) so quite possible some phone kit behind there somewhere...

How long have you had the car with it working OK?
