Boost Gauge Help Please

Featured Replies

Hi fellas, I'm looking at getting some new gauges for the octy as i have just bought a triple gauge holder to go underneath my stereo.

My problem is I have been looking at a few and don't know what make to get.

Was thinking about keeping them simple and getting some of these tim motorsport ones:

Not to everyone's taste i know but like i said i want to keep it simple.

Also i am going for a boost gauge (obviously), and oil pressure.

My main question is does a boost gauge and vacuum gauge measure the same thing ?

Sorry for the thick question but i have no idea what so ever.

Thanks in advance

Yes boost and vacuum can be used on one guage!

Buy mine in the for sale section!

Better off with a psi guage. 25 psi will be fine with -30in hg

I mean will it look 5hit with a vacuum gauge and a boost gauge ?

Bit expensive for me mate, can get 3 tim gauges for that. ;-)

No cause you cant have vacuum and boost at the same time. Vacuum will show at idle. Boost will be shown on boost

The first pic you posted has vacuum hence the -1.0 bar
