hi just traded in my 07 tdi and bought a red june 2010 sort and ordered up the black grill mod saw on this forum.

5J0853607B for the smaller strip that goes around the sides and bottom of the grill.

5J0853633B for the top bonnet panel which includes the badge.

went to fit then and it appears that they do not fit as they are for a 'facelift' model. massive disappointment because just been told that i cannot have cruise control fitted as its no longer available for this model, begining to wish i had kept the old silverslug.

so one....can anyone help with the correct part nos for my year/model for the black top grill and the black surround

and two...does anyone know where i can get a cruise control and wiring ( perhaps mainland europe). i know garages in this country are less than happy to look for something thats 'not sitting about' any ideas

Yep if you don't have a facelift you ate totally FUBAR'd. Get a refund matey...

unfortunately i am (or in some minds should be ) committed, so the best i can hope for ..is there a set that would fit my car ???

thought of that , got a previous car grill/suround painted by very good company but it chipped and within a short time it took the edge off its looks. also looked at wrapping and as i cant put the car off the road while this gets done i am really back to buying replacement parts that i can change at night.

doesnt anyone have the skoda part numbers for the black pre facelift surrounds. skoda just ask for your reg number and it comes up with chrome and thats as far as they will go.......
