New Octavia 1.9TDI Ambiente

Featured Replies

Hi,

here is a pic of my new Octavia Ambiente that I bought on Saturday.

I have just ordered a set of these Audi Stars for it, they are off a delivery mileage A3 with Pirelli P-Zero Rossos in 225-45-17s.

Anyone know what the part number for the skoda centre caps are or even the size of cap that I need please?

Thanks,

Trevor

Could you post more pictures please ? I think I may like the colour :)

P.S. What colour is that ?

Did you have front foglights put on as an option? Nice car, like the new wheels.

Don't forget to order 4 bags of leadshot to get that lowered ride height

Thanks for the compliments guys. Its graphite grey. Its an Irish spec Ambiente so we get fogs but loose things like aircon that is on the UK version.

Here is another pic

I also tried some Mk5 Golf Imola alloys on it to see how they would fill the arches

My Skoda dealer parts department told me that he has loads of wheel caps in stock. However we had a heated debate about whether A3 alloys would fit or not. I think the guy must have been thinking of an A4 with a different offset ET35 compared to an A3 of ET50. The ones that I am getting have an ET56 which is ok as the skoda pegasus are ET54 so 2 mm wont make a difference. Anyway I will be proving him wrong. :)

These are the Audi 5 spoke Stars on an A4 which is a similar colour to my Graphite grey. I reckon that they really will look well on it. May drop the suspension a bit too.

by the look of the Audi badges on the wheels, it looks like it would just be a direct fit for the Skoda ones.

Yeah that is what I am thinking so I am going to buy 4 badges on Saturday and have them ready for when they arrive. When the time comes to sell the wheels on at least I'll have the audi badges to put back on.

Very nice, that's the colour I want too :)

Can you tell me please if it's geting dirty fast like the black colour ?

Hey Raz,

I only have it 5 days and have washed it twice but that is because a bird **** all over it.:-)

haha, I think the bird is jealous on your new car :)

I've got the same one (but in combi version) and it gets dirty really fast, especially the rear end, maybe that won't be as big of a problem on the non-combi :)

Colour is graphite grey iirc

btw: I have the 17 inch pegasus rims (option) and they look great with this colour. I may put some bigger ones on if I can get my girlfriend to agree -_-

So Skoda are basically saying Ireland is cold and foggy all the time :)

You have a pm ;)

I'll buy the 17" pegasus off you if you want to sell them. I cancelled the order for the Audi stars as the guy tried to put up the price after we agreed on the price and took my credit card details.

Nah its poverty spec! We always get less options and end up paying more for our cars

Not only that, but we don't want to have more than one CD in the car at a time, as a changer is a
