Towing with Yeti 2.00 110ps diesel 2 wd

Featured Replies

Am thinking of purchasing the 110ps diesel 2.00 litre Yeti. I wish to tow a caravan with a MAUW of just under 1300kg. This version of the Yeti is rated at 1500kg so it will obviously tow and be legal, but has anyone out there experiance of towing similar loads with the 110ps Yeti. I would be very grateful for any feedback. Also what is the best route to take to get a towbar fitted? From the broucher it seems that you have to pay £180 for `towbar preparation', then presumebly the towbar on top of that.

Hi huntwing and welcome. Lots of info and discussion about towbars and electrics in the Yeti forum but essentially you're right - pay for towbar prep when you order, then have the hook and final electrics done by the dealer or VAG-experienced towbar specialist.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hello and welcome huntwing
