Suspension replacement bolt part numbers

Featured Replies

My local dealer has been truly useless, so has anyone got the part numberws for the bolts that need replacing when changing the front and ar shocks on an octavia 2?

I'm trying to buy them from a dealer although if anyone knows if CAF or tps will stock them that'd be fine too.

As an update to this I've got the following parts:

N10127707 - QTY 6

N90648402 - QTY 3

WHT003467 - QTY2

N0150816 - QTY 2

N10106402 - QTY 2

N90954802 - QTY 2

Im having my o/s/f shock absorber/strut replaced on the 22nd as it has a film of oil at the base of the spring. It hasn,t gone as such but its leaking so my dealer is changing it for £165 all in.

I will be ordering the bolts and nuts as they are 1 time use only which consists of:

1 Hub/driveshaft bolt - Expensive

1 Strut/hub pinch bolt - Expensive

1 Drop link nut

3 Lower ball joint nuts

3 top mounting bolts

Thats all thats needed for the job as the mechanic told me.

Which of those part numbers are relative to these nuts/bolts?

If you're doing one shock, then do both on the axle at the same time.

Otherwise you'll end up with a horrible and unpredicatable ride, which can potentially be dangerous if one side is very new and the other very worn.

That plus if one is going, you can bet the other won't be too far behind.

Only has a slight weep. Nothing wrong with n/s shocker. Won't cause any problems replacing one only.

Good old Bournemouth speed bumps obviously weakened it.

Ahh the westover speed "cushions" got to love them... not.

I'll try and dig out the bag and see if the individual bags are still there. If they are, I wrote which was which on the bags.

I do know the WHT ones listed there are the rear suspension bolts.
