fans cycling on and off with engine stopped

Just replaced the radiator fan and control unit on an octavia2 (earlier fan was jammed) car started ac switched on fans working fine after driving for 10 kms stop the engine fans keep cycling on and off continuously until the battery is disconnected any ideas anybody thanks

Happened to me a while back. moisture had got under the fuse box and subsequent corrosion had started shorting the fan circuit.

Do a search here - there are a few cases of it happening.

I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it. Before that had an older Berlingo. That had ACC that it worked, but that system braked fairly hard and later than I'd have liked, then a

Hi. I was recovered to a dealership 3 weeks ago after going into limp mode EPC and getting an Oil pressure sensor failure warning. A blade type fuse was replaced and car returned to me. After 3 weeks and 1000 miles i had identical issue and car had to be recovered again. Prior to all of this the engine had suddenly developed a very noticable clatter - initially under load but after the first sensor issue its present all the time. Skoda wont look into this unless i pay £1500 for strip down only

This is my 2012 Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo, It is a 1.6 TDI 105 ps model with 89k miles. I bought it on the first of February and have imported it into Ireland since,however it has sat for since due to it being a pain to get insurance. Since it didn't need anything I only clayed and polished the paint,hopefully I will be able to get a remap in the coming months to about 140 ps but I have no other plans for the car. I can't justify doing anything right now as everything on the car is in good conditi
