Boost leak?

Check all the pipes to and from the intercooler, see if there is any movement in the joints or signs of oil leaking out, especially the ones that connect to the intercooler.

I am hoping it is just a boost leak

Main one to check will be the one from the turbo to the intercooler, give the joints a good tug!
