OK Ok been told off  but as atated in the first post I needed “DUMB” explanation!!

Change of the plan then, will go for H&R 35mm therefore does anyone know where can I get good deal on them ?

suggest starting with the site sponsors, mention briskoda etc.

damian (dpm) is often to be found on these threads offering advice, seems like a friendly helpful chap (no connection etc and i've never bought stuff from him, just an observation!)>

Even the 35mm drop will be too much for standard dampers.

If you want to run standard dampers 20mm is the drop you're probably safe with. You might be ok to stretch to 30mm, but it's likely your shock life will be degraded.

If you want to drop the 35mm, then have a look at bilstein B8 or any other suitably shortened shock absorber. Otherwise coilovers are a solution that do both at once.

I like my H & R cup kit -55mm front and -40mm rear, with Whiteline anti-roll bars. Brilliant ride. Brilliant handling.

Take it from this the. That you will only get away with the eibach springs that seem to be the smallest drop on standard dampers.
