Track My Skoda

Featured Replies

While waiting for my new vRS I found the track my Skoda website. Ive been informed that it's not actually run by Skoda (?) but is supposed to be linked to the live system - with a 6wk delay. I just wondered if anyone has been able to get progress details from this, I haven't, though my dealer is pretty good at keeping me informed.</p>

From what I remember, it's only for the Sheffield and Mansfield dealers.

Not worth a sook!

Better calling up Skoda UK

Edited by sly200sx

Mine was still 'awaiting a build date' 3 days after delivery!

Thanks guys, that's pretty much what I thought.

Incidentally, mine is also still showing "awaiting build date" even those the dealer tells me it's been built and awaiting shipping.

Why on earth would they bother with such a u/s website, it can't be good for Skodas reputation.

The track my skoda website is run by Rainworth and Bickerton skoda so unlesss you buy from them it will not be any good to you. Mine came from Rainworth, track my skoda is not a live system it relies on someone manually updating it. I was able to watch the build week of mine go backwards and forwards and when it was actually made it went back to awaiting a build date. The most effective way of knowing what was going on was to make aquick phone call.

VW have an official website order tracker http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/track-my-order so hopefully Skoda will get one eventually

But agree best way to get an update is to call Skoda customer service - well in my case it is the dealer isn't really interested at the minute, will probably change once confirmed (I hope).

Skoda UK can find you order with your details and what the supplying dealer is, they'll even give you the order number so you get a quicker response on any subsequent calls.

Thanks again for the updates guys. Just been on to Skoda UK, they tell me my car arrived at Grimsby on Friday, so (fingers crossed) not long now

IMT: mine was build wk 41, so yours might be close.

Blimey that made it over quick. I called Skoda UK last week and mine had a provisional build of next week, so indeed it doesn't seem too long till I'll be in mine.

I hope once it is it's fast tracked over like your's seems to have been as opposed to some of the Blacklines - I suppose it should as petrol is faster than diesel :giggle:

Not to mention cheaper too...

 Well, after what seemed ages it all happened quite quickly. It's finally here, and at the risk of stating the obvious "I'm chuffed to little mint balls!!"
