Scratches in rear screen...

Featured Replies

Our Fiat 500 has a badly scratched rear screen.

The glass is factory tinted, so almost black in appearance in the right light.

All the scratching is external. Is there anywhere/way I can get it repaired or is it a new

bit of glass needed? God knows how she (the last owner) managed it.

It really spoils the look of the car after I've spent all day cleaning it.

I'm in the same situation, I think the last owner of my car had a dog who was a little, erm, excitable and scratched the crap out of the rear window :(

I considered making a glass claim on my insurance (£70) as I believe it's the cheapest way, but only assuming going private to auto windscreens would be a lot more??
