I have had the error wiped.l. Since the DPF was removed, should these sensors be inactive?

I think so, as I understand it the DPF sensors are supposed to be mapped out.

I was given the choice of remving them completely or leaving them in situ to make it more difficult to see that the DPF had been removed.

If you are getting DPF sensor related errors I'd be thinking that the map hasn't worked properly.
