Hi guys,

I am looking for a bit of advice. I had a problem with my central locking and had to get a new locking unit for the drivers door. I managed to get a second hand one and all now works however the drivers door will not lock/unlock using the key fob. I have to use the key to open the drivers door. The key operates all the locks as it did before.

Can his be fixed?? I am guessing the the central locking needs to be reset but how can this be done?? My uncle has a snap on diagnostic system, can I use this to do it an if so how do I do it??

Although I always thought the central locking unit that the key pairs to is not actually the bit in the door (the bit you've replaced) so can't be 100% sure this will help
