Nice and simple, just what engine is the absolute best in terms of getting as many miles as possible out of it.... it appears that the newer 1.6tdi is better than the 1.4tdi greenline ??? How is that possible. Also how economic is the older 1.9tdi compared to all of these.

look at the 1.2TDi greenline but many do not get the quoted urban figures, i easilly beat my daughters 1.6tdi monte on mpg

Greenline's better than 1.6 CR TDI , as it has Stop/Start etc.
