Have been to bodyshop this morning to book in my new Fabia as big surprise the rear spoiler has laquer peel!

Next thing I want to sort is the front grille on mine has been painted black previously, possibly by someone who requires a labrador.

Rather than getting it rubbed down etc I might just buy a new surround - where is that best place to buy this and how much will it cost?

Main dealer will charge about £40 for the chrome section. iirc

But since you'll have to remove the chrome to get a proper job

done you may as well re strip the one you have.

Worth noting that they are all pre-facelift grilles with the straight slats.

The angled type are a little more expensive.

Don't know if the chrome parts are interchangeable or not...

Looks the same. Never realised they were different until looking carefully

Yeah, the older type are nearly see through when looking

head on. The newer type are better in my opinion.

the grills are interchangable i have a surround off a pre facelift on my face lift grill. i have the chrome one still if i wanted to change back but i doubt i ever will. so if you fancy mine i could sell it for the right price pop me a pm if interested.
