interior fan (oilsensor)

Featured Replies

Hi, i really need some help with my interior fan.

Starting to get below zero degrees here and without the fan i cant see the road...

The car is a Octavia II 1.6 FSi 06

I got the "Oilsensor Workshop" warninglight.

The fuse for the fan and sensor just keep blowing.

I have checked the fan for debris, the fuse still blows even when i have the fan removed.

I pulled the contact from the sensor, and then the fan worked!

So i assumed the sensor were faulty, i took a plastic bag and some tape to protect the contact until i could change the sensor.

But the next time i started the car the fuse once agin blows.

Now i tought the contact/cable was to blame, so i cut the cabel ~2dm. But the fuse still blows.

Im kind of out of ideas.... i can try to cut the cabel higher up ( but then it will be hard to replace), mayby go for a separate powerline to the fan ( but i want to fix the problem).

Do anyone have a clue or a suggestion what i can try next?
