can any one help, i am buying a mk2 fabia vrs on friday and i wonded if the maxi dot system comes standard? has i never asked or look.

nope not standard think it was like a £1500 extra with the sat nav system but could be wrong about the price

You would need a Maxidot dashboard and then it would have to be a dealer that did it, if you could find one willing, so that they can code the immobiliser.

Getting the dash is easy, about 170 Euro's for a Fabia TDi, like I say it's just convincing a dealer to follow the dashpod replacement procedure and coding it.
