Quick question for all 4x4 owners out there:

What oil should I use for the Haldex on my 2008 Scout - grade/specification?

Is it the same for the rear diff?

different to the rear diff oil - can't remember the exact details but go to your friendly TPS centre and they might sell it to you. When I bought mine it was a 'trade only' and shouldn't have been sold to me as a private punter!

How come they shouldn't sell it to non-trade customers?

What so I'm not allowed to change Haldex oil myself? The cheek of it, it's not as if changing oil is particularly difficult.

Did you come across any details of what spec. Oils are required?

Dealer changed my Haldex oil last month (Haldex 4'th gen, yours is 2'nd gen.)

2 different oils:

G 052145A1 - 14 euro

G 052145S2 - 29 Euro.
