I have been doing this project for 7 years and it getting nowhere and i need a deposit for a house so have decided to sell everything.

My aim was to build this into a 300bhp RWD track car based on the Fabia WRC car using mostly Genuine WRC panels and running Nissan 200SX engine and running gear which i later changed to a Honda S2000 engine and running gear.

To start i have a 06 Skoda Fabia Shell which had flood damage so no structual damage. the new buyer may decide not to use the shell but im including it anyway.

The bulk head has been removed, a section of the exhaust tunnel has been removed, the boot floor has been removed the outer quarter and inner quarter panels have been removed.

The body panels are genuine Skoda Fabia WRC panels

I collected them From the Cezch republic in a van from Kopecky Motorsport and Juka Motorsport.

The rear quarters are brand new from Kopecy and cost £900 each

The rear doors a used from Kopecky and cost £950 each

One of the front wings Evo 2 is from Kopecky £350

The other wing is Evo 1 from Juka £250

Front bumper is from Juka £800

Rear bumper is from Juka has a bit of damage but is easily repairable £ 200

You cannot just go out and buy these panels. It took me 3 years and hundreds of emails to obtain these. Weaversport are now the only people who you can get the panels from and unless you actually own one of the 18 real Fabia WRC cars left in the world they wont deal with you. I spoke to a company who could reproduce the front wings but a minimum order of 15 would have to be made. and at £300 a wing it isnt really a viable option.

The rear spoiler is a fiberglass copy of the Evo 1 which was £200

The bonnet is just a mold that i was making to make a lightweight fiberglass bonnet from. I have made the negative mold and is now ready for the new bonnet to be laminated.

Included in the sale is:

Skoda Fabia bodyshell

All Fabia WRC body panels

Rear Fabia wing

Bonnet Mold and negative mold

Genuine Skoda front grill

Front Doors (one has small amount of damage)

Tailgate which has the inner section removed for lightweight

Front blacked genuine Skoda headlights (one on left had bracket broken)

Rear lights

Nissan 200sx Engine (70k) gearbox, ecu, wireing, front and rear suspension and brakes, diff, driveshafts, propshaft also the nissans logbook.

The rear quarter panels have only been positioned and clamped not welded so can be removed and fitted to another shell.

I will not sell separately, if you do not want the shell you dont have to have it, i can despose of it. in that case everything would fit into a van.

Im sure i have missed loads. your more than welcome to come and view the project. Im located 10 mins from Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

This isnt an easy project but will make one hell of a car when finished as there are less than 20 real Fabia WRC cars left in the world which still sell for up to £200,000. Dont get me wrong this isnt a real WRC car but using genuine WRC panels (not fibreglass copies) it will look as real as one.

Im after £2995

Ha, that was just a demo of the different paint effects i could do at the bodyshop i worked in. its more of a souvenir since the bodyshop went bump.

That could be awesome!

Bump!!!!!!!!!!!! now £2995

what is needed to finish this car ?

  • Author

As it stands its just a bare shell which has been cut-up to accept alot of the panels like the rear quarters ect. To finish it would need...

Engine + gearbox mounting

Suspension + diff mounting

Roll cage welding in to join body/engine/suspension. (basically a spaceframe)

Wiring

Bodywork

This isnt a small project by any means but once finished would be one of a kind and the closest thing to a WRC car.

As you can see, its cost me alot more than im asking. The real WRC panels cost alot more than im asking never mind the nissan 200sx parts, Fabia shell, fabia dash, bonnet mould, etc.

Its been my dream for about 8 years to drive this car but i need to accept defeat and move on. Being self employed I rarely get the time to work on it and im saving for a deposit for a house which isnt cheap so ive got to let go.

Interested people are more than welcome to come have a look and let me bore them with 8 years of stories behind this project. But in all honesty i'd love to see someone with the time and skill to finish it..
