Cars Available Now

Featured Replies

You can have a Citigo or UP today with no waiting,as long as you do not mind a used car.

There are loads of citigos and UPs advertised on Autotrader. Yes it is true they are all overpriced seeing as they are not new having only been reduced by 5% at the max, instead of the 20%-25% they will have infact lost in the trade, however if you want one today without waiting it could be worth a look.

I think you mean the 'asking price' is only 5% less.

You do not always have to pay what they are asking, thats unless others are and there ends up being nothing to buy.

If or when there are plenty around/available, we need to just try them and see how many % they are prepared to go down on used cars.

(1 SE ASG in red showing in Great Yarmouth with 500 miles on it, at a very good asking price,

i can not see them selling that before there are quite a few more miles on the clock)

I don't think they are overpriced, me and my g/f just got one (its in the pics thread) a 60 SE with nice black and white decals, big fat 15 inch black wheels, PID media system (bluetooth music sat nav ect) , citysafe system, extra speakers, electric sunroof "summer" pack,

1,000 miles only , one owner (skoda) for less than the price of a new elegance without any extras.....

I paid less for my new one than this 3000 mile second hand demo model http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201238485958795/sort/default/usedcars/model/citigo/make/skoda/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/page/3/postcode/de243as/quicksearch/true/radius/1500/advert-type/standard-listing?logcode=ucnnp

And I had extras fitted such as entertainment pack and sunset glass, which this doesn't have.

It depends on the deal, so it varies car to car.

Sounds like you got a good deal, as did I on my 60 PS SE project car.

that ones over a grand more than we paid Mick.... ( we have the sunset glass too :))

dont get me wrong, we could still get decent deals on new ones, but couldnt wait (her old car was written off, new one needed for work) ...

we just spent (admittedly about a week) looking around for one "in stock" , or "soon ariving" she liked!

I did the same with my vRS 18 months ago... didnt want to wait 6 months, I found a stock one (wierdly at a ford garage) with 14 miles on it, never driven, for the exact same price as a new order !

it is possible to get a stock car without the wait if you try hard enough :)

Id never buy a demo, they get ragged and abused by testers :giggle:

probably true , but thats how I run in cars anyway ;)

Id never buy a demo, they get ragged and abused by testers :giggle:

I brought an ex-demo because i couldn't wait for a new one to be built and that thought had crossed my mind. But then i thought how much damage could be done in 1500 miles? Hopefully not much!

Richards (BossFox) ex-demo Citigo admittedly was ragged around a bit before he bought it............................................................................. by him
