Delivery Dates Coming Down

Featured Replies

Ordered 1.2 DSG Elegance, Panoramic Sunroof and Variable boot floor in Rosso Brunello late August, I was advised delivery would be early to mid March 2013. I have now been advised build will be week 46 which will be mid November this year. Looks like the Yeti will be arriving early. Does anyone know how many weeks from build on average it arrives at the dealers?

Mine was 5 weeks 39 - 43 - collect Saturday

If it helps, mine was built 26th January and delivered to the dealer on 16th February.

I ordered mine (a CR170 with some options) mid August for an end-of-March delivery and was told in September that it'd be delivered for collection in the first week of December - I ended up pushing it back.

I ordered mine today for mid march delivery,

Looking forward to getting it next year, but i will miss the VRS

Skoda UK told me the factory has put an extra shift in to increase production.

My yeti ordered in September due March is now being built week 50 so due in January.

Mine was 2 to 3 weeks from build week 34 to delivery Monday of week 37

It certainly seems that delivery times (from order to dealer) are shortening.

Mine was a week over 2 months (and thats for a DSG, which at one time had the longest wait)

Scarcity value has helped keep new prices (and 2nd hand values) high . . . so maybe they will now both of them start to decline (not much help to me though LOL)

Whilst the overall lead time from order to delivery has dramatically reduced in the latter part of this year, the time from build to delivery is very much restricted by the availability of transport.

My car sat at Emden for more than a week waiting for a boat.

They only run a ship when there are sufficient cars waiting to make it viable.

Typically build to delivery times vary from 3 - 6 weeks
