help me break 200hp :)

Featured Replies

hey,

i'm from a land where only 90hp tdi's are available, lol, canada/us. well no, now they introduced the pd100's as of 2004. so thats all you can get.

anyway, my ALH 90hp golf tdi, is around the 185ph/365ft-lb power mark, thats crank power, -33% for wheels. i dynoed at 140hp and 275ft-lb on a mustang dyno, NOT dynojet.

basically the goodies:

PD150 VNT17 turbo, the B version.

.216 Injectors

Upsolute Big Turbo Program

PD150 3bar map

Golf5 GTI Intercooler (just got it fitted) :D

what is stock still:

the intake, even have the nice "snow screen", normal white paper cotton filter

the exhaust

manifolds

fuel pump

i was doing some reading on the pd160 intake, and maybe a better flowing exhaust manifold. i am also thinking about a bigger fuel pump. the automatic tdi's in the US have an 11mm fuel pump, but smaller injectors. so thats still something i can do. i'm in europe for the summer, so just seeing what other goodies i can get before my return to help me get just a little more ooomph!

btw: the intercooler made a huge difference, before and after below. thanks in advance for any more suggestions :)

Crickey that FMIC hangs low

Nice  .Huge wheels!

Don't know about technical bits but there are many clued up people here that will have suggestions I'm sure :)

Wow lots of work gone in there!

I would speak to www.allardturbosport.co.uk

I believe they have developed non PD engined race cars in the past pushing over 200hp mark.

They also do intake/exhaust manifolds, VE fuel pump mods, exhausts, air intake mods...all you need is there.

Out of interest are the .216 injectors the highest oe flow available?

www.kermatdi.com for all your injector needs.

PD 160 intake wont fit the Golf btw.

whats the upsolute big turbo program and 3 bar map btw?

Is it me or is that golf TDi going 170ish MPH?

Crickey... Well done sport...

50bhp shot of nos! plus co2/nos cooling for the intercooler!

lol, i still prefer methods where i dont have to worry about refilling anything, except my fuel tank. anyone have pics of the pd160 intake, i cant find pics of it anywhere... is it the one going from the airbox to the bumper, or the pic which goes down from the manifold to the turbo?

167 indicated , so 155 to 160 true speed is probably realistic.

Still very impressive though

hey thanks. has anyone changed out the one going down to the turbo? might anyone have a p/n for that one off the pd160? as for the airbox intake, i will have to make my own as the engine layout is way different.
