Scottish Remap

Alright folks many thanks for the help i already recieved re fuel filter clips,

After servicing the car and it sailing through its mot im thinking about power.was reading on here not to bother with induction kits but that remap was a good way to increase bhp for not much outlay.was qouted £230 plus vat from moorfield in kilmarnock and the guy reckoned i should get about 200 bhp is this reasonable to expect ? and has anyone else used them.also any other advice would greatly recieved as kinda new too the modding scene as only had a 1.3 felicia before this lol

down in england a lot so would be ok depending on whereabouts.

Yes around 200bhp. Be sure to tell your insurer too.

seriously i thought they couldnt tell on a remap.would that jump my price up by much?

Shark have a dealer in Scotland,brotek is the name,mark who owns brotek is a great guy,he done my vrs the other month.

where abouts are they and how much it cost mate did you get good gains

Shark :thumbup: from me. They're very highly regarded in the VAG tuning trade. My advice is don't take any chances with tuning.

Re Insurance. There are several specialist insurers out there who are happy to insure tuned & modded cars. Tesco etc generally run a mile at the mention of any modifications.

cheers for the help guys think i'll go with shark.put the car on diagnostics just to check everything was ok but coming up with three sporatic faults so have to sort them first
