satin turbo estate, more bits on

Featured Replies

after wanting one for a while i picked this 20v turbo up for a pocket pleasing £550

good history and just gone over 110k its fantastic, completely standard when i got it about 3 weeks ago,

its now on coilovers tt wheels, custom exhaust and induction, all new suspension components on the front and a clutch while i was there, both front window regs changed and the heated leathers got a clean, simple audio system with dls amps focal comps and a jl sub to keep me happy.

the only problem.......... the colour!

i'm hoping to satin black it as soon as i get a couple of days free, and was thinking of facelifting the front end if i can find the bits cheap enough.

well today saw the wheels painted, the grill arrived but i'm not sure now its on if it looks ok, and the dump valve is on but the car now feels really flat mid range so i think it may come off again for now. Tomorrow should see some more pics when the wheels are on.

Liking the satin look, different! but better than green....

Defo a rise of the estates. keep it coming

just got to finish the front bumper, paint the calipers and gloss the mouldings.

decided against the grill in the end so that'll be up for sale

and i think some 5mm spacers all round as i'm missing the offset of the audi wheels

Now thinking of different wheels, something bigger, wider and meaner then i can go a bit lower.

That looks beasty! Very cool indeed :-) like what you've done with the tail lights

Nice, I bought my 20vt estate from down the road in Greenhithe

What coilovers are you running~? What does it ride like?

What is that spoiler?

  • Author

did you get the silver one from the car sales???? saw that one days after getting mine.

coilovers are fk ones from a golf and ride is firm but comfortable

spoiler is from an impreza wagon, just because i've got a few lying about thought it would be different
