LSP...working life

Featured Replies

When you guys talk about how long a particular LSP will last, I presume you mean on a car that's used 5 (maybe 6) days a week. If that is the case, would you say that on my car, which is only used twice (maybe 3 times) a week and the rest of the time its in a garage, it would last twice as long? (On my car I have 2 coats of Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection...which has been assessed here as lasting about 6 weeks)

I rekon you'll get 3 months out of it, then just wash it well and top up with another coat of EGP it'll probably last another 2.

Fab. Thanks, ckyliu

To be honest you just have to keep an eye on it, you can tell when it's wearing off because the beading won't be as good. Don't take the 3 months as gospel, more of a rough guide/estimate. When the beading on the clean car isn't as good as you like, it's time for a top up!
