cruise control

Featured Replies

Ok, so i am toying with the idea of fitting cruise control to my old 1.9tdi AGR octavia. Is it even possible, and what exactly do i need to buy. I have read through the guide posted by Bowders1 and although quite involved, does not seem too bad, but it mentions coding with vag-com. I have vag com, but no idea how to access the different perameters, and how to modify them. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Should be possible, it is drive by wire

Order the correct kit from Skoda is comes with instructions. As long as you are ok handling air bags etc and pinning connector blocks its fairly straight forward.

Need to enter login 11463 to get cc to enable

Thanks for that. is there a list of all the login codes for different parameters somewhere, or do i need to ask on here every time? I am totally new to vag com, and dont really know what i am doing with it tbh.

There are hundreds of them. Most are not published and you will never need them.

Here's one you might find useful - 16167 deactivates cruise control.

Awesome was the cheapest for fitting them when I was thinking about getting one think it was 120 quid

Sent from my Galaxy S3, not a Crapple!
