I'm going to be fitting eibach coilovers and was wondering if anyone knows which febi top mounts I should get - there are two options: Standard and Sports on vwspares.co.uk - http://www.vwspares.co.uk/fabiasuspension.php Anyone bought either and know the difference? The standard ones replace OE codes 6N0412331E, 8Z0412331 and 6N0412331D. The Sports ones replace OE ref 6Q0412331B. Rather buy them from VW spares as I'm getting a few things at the same time and they will be a lot cheaper than the dealers. They're Febi/Bilstein so not worried about quality.

There are indeed two versions of front top mounts for the Fabia. Those with sports suspension (1GD, G04) and those with standard suspension (1GA, 1GG, G01, G02, G05).

Basically there is more meat on the sports mounts and the geometry range is different, i.e. camber and caster (which personally I don't believe).

Anyone know if the compound is different between standard and sport?

I've got vRs top front mounts on my combi if it helps.

No doubt, I'm sure the standard ones would be fine, I'm just wondering if there is any benefit to the sport ones if they are the same price.

I ordered my new Febi/Bilstein sport top mounts, Meyle Top mount bearings and Meyle HD drop links from VWspares, great service! Arrived next day and for top notch replacement parts they were a lot cheaper than anywhere else. Asked them what the difference between the sport and standard top mounts was and they are just made of a slightly stiffer more durable plastic.
