Re- mapping

Featured Replies

Thinking of getting a re-map done by black code?? I've heard they come to your workplace/home?? Is it worth getting a remap done next to a rolling road so you can see for yourself the results ( which you pay more for? ) or trust what the computer says but rely on mind over matter??

I personally would rather take the time and have it on a rolling road.I like to see a graph etc and a good custom map can take a few tweaks to get it how you want it. Tell us where abouts you are and people will more than likely be able to recommend from experience somewhere local to you. There are site sponsors etc some offer discounts.

I'm in northampton

There's a lot of crap written about custom maps. If it's stage 1 you're after you don't need a custom map. There is nothing wrong with generic maps, you're engine is generic, so why is a custom map required? Generic maps, assuming you use a reputable tuner, are robustly tested and proven so you're car isn't being used as a test mule.

As your in northampton, if you want to get it RR first or after go see Jamie @ Jam-sport he can do you a custom map if you wanted but as above on a stage 1 car a generic one is just as good.
