Hello basically i sent my turbo for rebuild to a local company i asked them for a k04-001 spec and also i asked them to make me a bigger compressor wheel

Turbo fits perfect etc with custom turbo intake...

It boosts higher but it dont pull as much untill you get to about 4000RPM then it goes (turbo lag to F**K) but when i let of the pedal theres hardly any pressure noise (like dump valve noise that i used to have) its very quiet now saying to me the pressures not been rericulated.. may be the n75 not working properly i dont know im confused

Any one know if a custom remap will sort this? thanks

Ive heard of this before, and from what i can tell (and im not experienced in this kind of modding, but have read alot) if the turbo is changed in the way it works, it needs to be mapped in to work properly or they boost late. Was it rebuilt and changed after the stage 2?

You need to get it mapped!!!!

You also need to know there specs of the turbo

You will need other bits to make it worth while its not as simple as bolt it on. I wouldn't be driving it hard until you get it logged and mapped

The cars Ecu should be intelligent to stop fuel, boost issues and lower the risk but certainly not good idea to attempt to boot it. Probably why car has lot of lag. Really needs setting up. As mentioned.

it will run, just as suggested not well...it needs mapping!

It ain't been booted for obvious reasons I was just curious before I get it mapped that's all

should be an interesting setup when done, who did the turbo work?

what other supporting mods are you running?

and who are you using for mapping?

Backdraft list a revo stage 2 for use with their k04-001 ?

maybe because when stage 2 was done he had a different turbo. If he had that one when stage 2 was done then yes it would have been compatible.

Shane, think you know by now you need a map but do you mind me asking the name of the company and what instructions did you give them.
