Featured Replies

hi have ordered a fabia monte carlo tsi 105 petrol red with red interior expected delivery late december early january spec sunroof, cruise control. heated seats. electric rear windows,armrest, maxidot, spare wheel but reading some post on hear left out the sat nav im quite happy to do so because im the sort of person if i dont know where a place is i dont go but ref to a few items that i do want i need some help thoughts first i like the idea of the side protection strips but my dealer told me they were matt finish and the monte trim is gloss they will not look right any thoughts ? also mud flaps they said they will not fit but again reading posts conflicting answers more thoughts needed ? next need some help with window / sunroof deflectors what colour are they and anygood ? and lastly tow bars any thing out there that does not reguire surgery on the bodywork thanks ohh any help debadging the car when it comes will be most welcome thinking along wheels ,front /back roundels stuck on or drilled thanks

I've removed the fabia and TDi badges from the rear with some 85lb fishing line (went straight trough the sticky pads and sent the badges skywards, and then it was a long thumb nail to remove the left over pads). I found leaving the Monte at my college where I work removed the front and rear round badges (some little scrote did it, thankfully without leaving any scratches) I did replace them with the new silver and black ones later though.

The Monte, like the VRS, is not type approved for a tow bar so you can't legally fit one.

Likewise have a Monte on order, hopefully for January delivery. TSI 86 with ESP+, cruise and headlight washers.

Currently trying to sort out mudflaps, as the Skoda one's do not fit; looking at bespoke rally flaps;

Side strips would be handy but would they spoil the look; think so myself, however found this which might be of help;

Other questions; apologies no help there.
