Footwell LEDs

Featured Replies

What colour would you suggest? Looking at getting some in the furby, a strip in each footwell and perhaps under the rear of the front seats to provide a bit of light in the back. Choices are white, red or green.

I suggest yo go for white otherwise you'll be branded a chav! Where are yo wiring them too?

I may consider doing the same to mine :)

Yeah, I'm mainly torn between red and white, as the red would match the puddle lights quite nicely. They'd be wired to the courtesy lights, when I'd put some white strips to light the ground up under the door too, wired to the puddle lights

I was thinking about the puddle lights wired upto the red ones on the sides. They would be very handy. There is a lad on here who wired some LEDs upto the interior light. I think his username was adam weal??

Yeah pretty much what I want to do with mine :)

I just changed my normal style bulbs for LEDs in my footwells, and to be honest I prefer the softer colour of the incandesant lamps to the harshness of the LEDs. That said, I realise that LED strips are a lot easier to retrofit.

Don't colour them though, just have white otherwise you risk going a bit MaxPower!

Anyone got any pics I can have a gander at?

I've just ordered 2 led strips, I'll fit them next weekend :)

My mate got some from online-LEDs.com at top gear live today. Good quality and look dead easy to fit

Mine were £2.95 off eBay posted for 2 x white LED strips.
