Octy will be for sale soon

Featured Replies

:D Well looks like my octy will be for sale soon as my golf is nearly finished

Well since i got it in october it has gone through a number of changes.

From this

The Golf is looking great! I have been following it's rebuild with interest :D

Pity you've got to loose the Octy though...

Just a quick Question,

Why the retro, from GTi Look to bog std ?

Looks nice and clean, are you after a "wolf in sheeps clothing " look ?

Not my cup of tea - I'd keep the Octavia.

Golf looks great! seriously big fan on mk2 Golfs :)

good luck with the rest of it

you would have to be mad to keep the golf and sell the octy.

Not mad just that i did 17k in the first 14 months and now have access to company cars if i need to go anywhere on business so only done 3k miles in the last 6 months so want something i can play with and take to shows.

To go any further with the octy is big money where i can transplant a vr6 into the mk2 myself for under

as smashing as that golf looks i find it really hard to understand how you could even consider selling an octavia like that one for it... shouldnt it be the octavia you take to the shows

Me like! Me like!

Very nice job so far. Really does look mint.

If I was in the situation where I didn't need a pukker reliable runner, I'd love to do a similar thing. Lucky g*t!

Just one issue - I thought the whole Euro look thing meant small wheels? Not that I'm complaining cos those rims look totally ace with elastic band tyres and all. Dread to think what they cost!

Keep up the good work, and hope you get a great price for the Octy!

Yeah, as said above, very tidy looking Golf there. Would personally go for wider wheels, and drop the car a bit lower though. But very nice as it is  Nice one!

still think your nuts. but then i never did see why golfs were special... just another 20yr old family car to me....

sorry but in a world of chav the skoda has infinitly more credibility.

just my 4p.

i think its the right decision if ur not doing that many miles in the octy...would you like to sell the wheels seperately tho? :D

Love that Golf, looks stunning a top job indeed.

Hi Paul - got to be honest and say i'm not 'feelin' the whole Euro Golfy look there - I thought euro was all about the deep dish rims, slamming to the floor, shaving all handles off and sticking a bb-bonnet on it :D

If you could keep the Octy you definately should - it's easily the 2nd best looking one around ;)

You're not going to like this but I like the golf in the very first picture :o Doesn't look sporty in the others.Unless it is a stealth plan :)

The octy is stunning though

it's easily the 2nd best looking one around ;)

Thanks Dave....it's reassuring to know that you rate mine more highly than yours. ;)

Not a fan, myself. But each to his own. The wheels don't really work, IMHO.

Is it legal to stick a fake German plate on a British car? (particularly the D bit, not the lettering style).

Porsche 928 wheels?
