So before the ranting commences please keep in mind it is still disguised, Auto.cz said once the deisguises are removed it is very different (and easily competes with a BMW 3 on looks)

I'm pleased the interior doesn't appear to have that awkward looking angled centre console from the Golf/Leon.

Other points:

- 9cm longer than current Octavia (with 10.8cm longer wheelbase)

- 590 litre boot

- Adaptive cruise, park assist, bi xenons, panoramic roof all availble.

Centre tunnel and switch gear reminds me of the MkV Golf, other bits possible along the lines of the Rapid; following the new corporate vision. Looks good from what you can see under the camouflage.

A much more handsome car than any horrid BMW

Like the way the lights have gone back in shape to the MK1 Octy, although the overall shape makes them look like evil eyes ( i personally like that ).

See that it will have the ice scraper in the fuel filler door ( looks like another small Skoda idea that people will find so useful & miss it when they dont have it , just like the ticket holder on the windscreen).

Is there a translation of the page ?

I would quite fancy the 1.8 version ( from what i could make out from the engines listed),

Sad thing is that i cannot consider upgrading for 2 reasons - 1) it wont fit in the garage( current 1 only just fits) - 2) I live in on a narrow road where at present you have to park 2 wheels on pavement on both sides of the road to avoid getting any damage from vans / truck & lorries that deliver along with the flying rats ( seagulls) poop that damages the paint . :(

The extra length would still (just) go in my garage, but what is it with keep making cars bigger each new version.
