MFD1 Sat Nav

Featured Replies

I bought the above off eBay about 3 days ago, however my parents treated em to a double din as well.

Here we have a mfd1 satnav in good condition.

Double din.

Code included.

Used GPS antenna included.

United Kingdom and Ireland 2007/2008 CD included.

Came out of a 2002 VW Bora.

Displays on height instrument cluster if you have one.

This will fit MK4 Golf, Fabia and models alike

Looking for £250 without postage!

Any questions please ask.

No one at all?

What you've got to remember is that this is a very old system with very outdated maps.

When you look at what you can get a standalone sat-nav for or sat-nav app on smartphones or even free google nav it's hard to warrant the expense of such an old unit.

There are usually loads on ebay for simialr prices but they don't sell very quickly.

I bid on a Seat one (with red illumination). They had a £220 reserve and I was the top bidder at £90. They then emailed me and asked if I still wanted it for £150. I declined.

Granted the ones on ebay thought don't have a code or disc!

£200

This maybe an old system, but you can still get the navigation discs. Recently released was the 2012-2013 UK CD, although they are costly to buy.

I recently installed the Audi version of this in my A8, and although quiet dated it works perfectly as a satnav and brightens up the interior even if you don't use the nav at all.

Hey have you sold the unit yet?

I still like these units, seven though old as fill the dash well and i have more recent maps, although up to date maps cost the same as a Tom Tom these days. I have the Skoda MK1 MFD so lights up green will the rest of the dash.....looks nice

I've had all three, skoda, vw and seat. They are a decent unit, for me it's just the price. For the same amount you can get. Good aftermarket one with plenty more gadgets etc...

Didn't stop me paying nearly £200 for my Skoda one though!
