Standard front bar on the fabia is 18mm iirc. It doesnt have a rear one as standard.

The H&R bars are 20mm front and 25mm rear. Remember is also the quality of materials that helps, not going for the thickest bar. The H&R front bar also has a much larger hoop for extra clearance.

There isnt anything listed in the book for the MK2 in a Cup Kit.

I will email H&R and find out options.

Good man, thanks.

Didn't want to risk a 40mm drop on standard shocks.

or get some springs, then buy some Bilstein B8 dampers. YOu basically have a Bilstein B12 kit then

Not a bad idea, will go have a look. May as well get coilovers if its more money than them.

Anti roll bar arrived today! Will try find time to fit them and then pop a review up :)

Apparently the kit on mine has made a massive improvement, so im looking forward to trying mine when i get the car back, eventually......

Seriously tempted :p are these better than the whiteline, jabba and eibach?

Thats a difficult one to answer, and unless someone has tried each and every option its purely personal preference.

Ive tried eibach and H&R on two cars(Leon Cupras) back to back and preferred the H&R setup. Not tried a whiteline or jabba setup though.

IMO yes they are better. Direct fit to the damper mounts on the beam and the thickest bar available at the minute.

The Whiteline stuff rusts very fast, and the supplied bushes are not the best quality. I wasnt aware that Eibach did a kit for the Fabia. I cant really comment on the Jabba bar tbh.

hoping to fit it this weekend. what im tempted to try is fit it while the rear weights are on, get a feel of it, then take off the rear weights with the bar attached and see if it makes any difference.

Well my front and rear bars have made the car absolutely awesome to drive and havent even really pushed it yet either.

Still waiting for the bar to arrive :<

slight bump

The minimum requirement for the group buy has been met, so we dont need the numbers anymore, and parts can be ordered/delivered as soon as yo have paid.

Group buy finishes on new years eve.

Bar arrived yesterday, beatifully packaged! Top notch!

ARBs over coilovers everyday for me.

There is no down side to ride comfort and such with ARBs, its purely an improvment in handling with no negative points, whereas coilovers, and particularly KW(and yes i have tried them in V1,V2& V3 guises on multiple cars) give you the extra performance at the expense of comfort.

Im after the rear arb. Who do i need to contact/pay?
