Just fitted new maf

Featured Replies

Right guys. Just fitted new maf to my vrs (Bosch) and now she is hunting revs when idling. Noticeable drop in performance. Have gone back to unplugged for now. Do I need to do an ecu reset after fitting? I know with my subarus I was needed, not sure about vrs though.

Cheers guys

Let it run for a bit, it may be the ecu sorting it's head out after getting drunk readings

Cheers dave

You could try resetting the ECU by removing the battery terminals and touching them together.

I think that clears the learnt values.

Just done a reset. Left battery off for half hour. All sorted now. No more waning lights :) woo-hoo
