Not the news Apple was looking forward to......

Is there a good phone company? You know, one that releases a new product that is always 0% like anything that has come before, doesn't have an inflated RRP and is priced close to a manufacturing cost, and that doesn't go about telling you that their product is both functional and useful and that you should go and buy it so they can gain your money?

I'd have a punt on Motorola.

Back in the day, you could be certain they'd fail at warranty + a few days if not before. You were lucky if it was before, because then you'd get another 6 months out of it :)

These days, they're probably a bit better again, as they used to be when mobiles were new.

My iphone 5 is awesome and your all jealous :)

Oh and getting my ipad 3 for xmas! Happy days

I had an apple and cinnamon crumble cake yesterday and it was better than rhubarb crumble I had last week.

Does that make me an apple fanboy?

Steve ;)

MMMMMMNMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I just thoroughly enjoy reading the 'haters' comments against Apple.

The way I see it is, you either have an Apple product or you don't, there's no middle ground. Why is there so much hatred toward a company who have the sexiest products that work flawlessly? (Except the Ariel on the iPhone 4).

Having had dozens upon dozens of custom built PC's that inevitably died, they were replaced with an iMac and it is still going strong YEARS later without a single problem.

I have had a brief encounter with Android products, admittedly they were early (Galaxy S1 & Motorola Xoom) and they were utterly terrible.

My 2 P's worth.

All tech has flaws, no exceptions.

Apple from experience of their phones has the least of them, I like the user experience but hate the overinflated pricing strategy. I do applaud their marketing machine, simply genius to be able create such a market for a device, which is by no means revolutionary really.

Apple computers are a different story but follow the same pattern. The spec can be had for a fraction of the price when doing a custom build. The iOS is better than Windows but worse that Unix however in terms of user experience it beats them all.

I think its the synergy they got sussed out incredibly well is what makes them so successful.

As far as patent wars are concerned - what is new here? Industrial espionage, stealing other ideas or blatant copying is as old as Babylon whorehou$e$.

What is new is the fact that some people want to patent breathing and fresh water egged on by their Intellectual Property Lawyers.

Nothing wrong with patenting ground breaking inventions or entirely original ways of putting together pre-existing technologies in a way nobody thought possible.

But patenting round corners and sliding action (!) clearly shows where our fabulous legal systems got us...

Still like Apple and don't give a hoot about iSheep or other pseudo-ideological consumerism freedom preaching. If people buying Apple products are considered brainwashed then what can be said of die hard followers of sports clubs/teams?

*goes away grumbling in a direction of the local Apple store, just in spite!*

Apple mmmmm love apple

Sent on my ipad ;)

Oh my bad i have no idea. The latest gen one whatever it is :)

There's the iPad 3 and the newest is the iPad mini, technically it's the 4th one but it's not officially the iPad 4 lol.

Well the ipad 3 then which is the newest full scale one

Nope there's an iPad 4 now new connector and chip :) possibly new fwd facing cam too

Looks like a bit of a spruce up as a response to the Nexus 10.
