As title suggests - Turbo went in spectacular fashion the other day, nice bang, smoke etc etc...

Subsequently, I need a replacement - but need advice;

What Model Turbo is it that I need? I have the ASZ Engine (2004) - is it available from other options (Leon, Ibiza etc?).

I've been informed that the turbo on the BLT type is different - is this correct?

What would be the best option - and what price am I looking at? - Seen some ranging from £200 (used) - £700 (new).

Ideally - I would prefer to go inbetween and get a recon Unit.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I always fit the garrett units, as they are stronger than the kkk unit. And normally cheaper

I've never heard good things about recon turbo's...
