How much is it worth?

Featured Replies

Just after an idea on value guys if possible please.

Due to the mileage I do I would like to sell the Fabia in a few months to stop it going to rocket mileage and buy another with less miles.

But need a rough idea of what mine is worth.

2006 Fabia vRS

Black.

Will have 12 months MOT and 6 months tax.

115,000 miles.

Remapped with print out to prove at 167.9bhp.

PD160 intake

Will just have been serviced and has full Skoda service history.

DMF and clutch change at 90k.

Cambelt done at 90k.

Mint alloys with no kerbing and 4 near new tyres.

Plasti dipped black grill.

Heated front seats

Cruise control

Air con- fully working and ice cold.

Xenons with headlight washers.

Paintwork is near mint with one scratch along the roof, will polish out though.

Mint interior.

Think that is about it....Rough ideas on prices? Cheers :)

I'll give you a swift kick in the bo**ocks :D

£4000-£5000

Bit ball park!

I usually check autotrder for what garages are selling roughly the same car at and adjust my price to suit!

Worked for all my cars in the past!

End of the day, think of a price youd be happy with and go by that!

Ideal thank you.

Garages down here are weird. I have seen a 54 plate with moon miles for £4800 and a 2005 with low miles for £3800! Both same spec, makes no sense and hard to work value out haha.

I would be happy between 4 and 5k!

Nice motor, I'd be sticking a figure of around £4995 on the window allowing for some knock down.

With that mileage i'd say around 3750-4200

I bought mines with 90k full service history for 3400 so less than that?

With the same spec and age?

I'd be aiming around the £4k mark as your optional extras will help sell yours / make it stand out a bit from a totally stock one. Mileage is still above average though.

Yeah I know that, if I got 4k I would feel I got a good deal and so did the buyer. Cheers :)

4k would be a great price. My 06 with 130k on it sold for 3k recently and it was in lovely condition, generally. I always take the view that the optional parts like yours has doesn't really add to the value much, but should make it easier to sell.

I think a figure of around £3,500 would be fair. But if it was me it put it up for £3,995 then you can give yourself some space for negotiation.

Also just a thought, if the roof scratch is really only minor and polishes out, I'd be tempted to get it done myself before any sale just so the car looks its best. It should only cost you £20 max to have it machined by a body shop.

Oh yeah I will sort it myself, was just mentioning it :)

I bought mine 2 weeks ago 06 plate, black vrs, 119k, FSSH, recent clutch/DMF and waterpump etc = £2800.

It had 6 owners and I was paying cash so managed to knock off a fair bit of the asking price.

Sale of the century!

Well Done :)

I had to travel 4 hours there and 4 hours back. It had no spare wheel, the rear doors showed signs of them leaking, needed new discs and pads on the front and a slow coolant leak comming from a split pipe from the oil cooler (which i suspect they thought was something much worse) and the fact I had cash helped alot.

So yeah, I think its a bargain too.
