who hates this weather cleaned my car today had loads of leaves on my drive way it started raining could not get it dryed nor get my windows cleaned no tyre dressing roll on the summer.

i'd be ashamed to post a pic of mine right now. 2 weeks old and 695 miles on it its REALLY filthy. Has even mud etc on the bonnet :think:

Posh taxi that, I'm in private hire taxis all the time and they all share the same features. over 200k on the clock and a dash full of amber warning lights and the best one is headlights that point to the moon or to 1 foot in front of the car! Thankfully i never bought my octavia on my travel experience in taxis....

You should try commuting on a motorbike. I reckon I have road salt in places that don't even see daylight!.

When we are doing 100+ miles every day, it's a like fighting a loosing battle in this weather.

I was out at 5:30 this morning cleaning mine, cos had some early jobs on and unlike some of the other drivers I care about my car and feel it reflects on me

Sly - I dunno how some of them dare drive cars like that, I would honestly be embarrassed to drive round with lights on the dash and bulbs out etc!

Try and clean my car every week, but we live in rural North Yorkshire, and some of our roads are terrible with tractor mud.

However, I was out yesterday and by the time I got home I discovered that the back of an Octavia gets really mucky from road spray. Mine has mudflaps as well, so the car must create a hell of an air vortex to fling that much muck back up around the rear of the vehicle.

Easy to cope with the winter

Wash, clay and apply 2 coats of Collinite 476s.

Then come wash time, foam power wash down, hand wash it then get this to dry it with

JOB....Done!! lol.

It´s been quite good during day but the temperature does lower to about 5ºC at night.

I´m sure will be banned after this.

After living so many years in north of Canada, just not having snow is great.
