emissions light still on after egr delete?

Featured Replies

I have had my EGR mapped out by a well known tuner, and a blanking plate inserted, as the egr was playing up and bringing the light on, with the fault code values not reached, or similar.

However the emissions light is still on, even after the delete and blanking off

The tuner can't understand why this should be so

I have had the car at the local audi dealer, and they confirm it is still the same code

I took a screenshot ( below ) of the diag.

The duty cycle was still showing a value when on a decelerating throttle, alhough I wasnt quick enough to capture this on a screenshot

The local audi dealer is adamant that the egr hasn't been mapped out as it is still showing values.

Cant get back to the tuner until next month- anyone else had this happen??

Not sure if this is relevant but had the dpf delete and remap some time ago

Doesn't look like it has been mapped out correctly.

I know when Ben@Shark did mine on a PD140 he said you had to map out the actuation of the EGR as well as the ECU monitoring the flow values.
