Hi folks.

As par for the course, mine has given up too! 04FA error code.

Im not too bothered about replacing the motor - my main gripe is the flap for recirc is stuck closed. Is it possible to manually move these flaps to an open position (to let fresh air in) as without the climate on, the car interior mists up like a good'un.

yes,you can move it....there are 2 flaps on recirc mode need to remove the glove box and the fan blower

Ah, so you cant actuate the motor linkage manually?

I think you can, I made mine stay open, but can't remember how exactly, I definately didn't strip anything down though. I seem to recall being able to move a lever ...maybe !!

No not this time lol, deftly disconnected motor. Took ages just to do that with my fat hands

There is a leaver you can flick up/down !!!

That diagram makes it look so easy, I guess it is if your hands are like baby size, best of luck with that !!

Ah-ha! They are not like King Kongs so I might be ok!

That lever was not moving! I removed the blower motor and fiddled with my flaps manually :p
