Thinking of coming back to skoda

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I used to own a Fabia vrs bout 4 years ago bought off here and I loved it ,sold it and went back to petrol turbo n got Octavia vrs mark 1 sold that to my next door neighbour and got what I wanted since I was a kid n got a BMW 320d sport touring n I love it but the wife doesn't, I really like the look of the mark 2 vrs and I'm considering the diesel version. I don't really use the car as I have my van but the wife drives to work everyday about 12 mile round trip.

Would I be pleased with the vrs?

Thanks Matt

How will anyone know what you will be pleased with? Personally I thought the vRS diesel was underpowered so changed it for a vRS tsi but others love them. It's down to personal preference. Test drive one.

I'm going to test drive one yes.

Obviously everyone's taste is different

Better still get the missus to test drive it as she'll be using it most, plus you can't be wrong then and you'd get the goody points for letting her choose!

Hi,

If your wife is only doing a 12 mile round trip and not really doing any sort of high mileage I would go for a petrol version of the vrs as you can run into issues with the DPF on the diesel if you are not really using it.
