As the title my paint finally arrived I have the grill off , sooo before I start at tips for the best results

Give it a good clean before hand, of use fairly liquid to degrease it. Then dry it with a hair dryer and get some heat into it before you spray I've always found better results that way

Clean it beforehand, then apply 4 coats, leaving 20 mins between coats, and leave to dry (I left it to dry overnight but I think 4 hours is OK). Some people take the badge off but you don't need to. I didn't, just carefully peeled it off the badge after it dried.

I did 5 coats 30 mins between each and then allowed to dry inside for about 8 hours!

may be too late to tell you this but put the can in some hot water before you start spraying it pressurizers the tin and makes it spray a lot easier

plasti-dip.. they're a bit magical aren't they... (Just done some youtubing) I may need to start playing around with that at some point. Let us know the results! pics pics pics.!

Did my grill but found it to be a bit of a let down. Did four coats, leaving at least 30 mins between. The problem I had was with the badge, I took it off, sprayed and re mounted it but it marked the plasti dip which after a few damp cold mornings caused the plasti dip to peel a bit. Is there a way to cut around the badge without it peeling? Tried a really sharp craft knife but it still started to pull it away in places.
