How much is a new gateway please?

Also does retro fitting someone's cause issues with the brightness?

Eddie.

Ive recently bought a bolero and fitted it to my car. BUT the screen is really dull during the day, as if the units switched to night mode.

From asking around and what I understand so far the newer units this will happen on pre fl cars but older units it doesnt happen.

Do you know how new your unit is and will it have the same issue?

If you can confirm it will defo be right in a 2007 pre fl octavia I will buy it and sell my current one. Thanks

It is a newer unit, as my car is a 2013MY

have you looked into the settings on your unit, to see if you can adjust it?

Thanks Eddie,

Ive changed every setting I can but nothing has made any difference. Wardy has the same problem so looks like its just one of those things. Its only a real problem in strong sunlight. Not that we get any of that :giggle:

Anyone know what the cost of a facia is please for a 2007 elegance. Nothing coming up on eBay.

Also did you get my pm?

Bolero uses same surround as the stream.

Shame I would more than likely need a new gateway as the wife can't be swayed :(

Sold :)
